| This nice black Base-Tang was found near
Comfort, Texas by Jay Roach. It's made from the deep black material
found in Kerr County. Some of the original cortex remains on one side of
this slick artifact. Measures 2 3/4". $125 |

| Atlatl Weight found in Angelina County in
East Texas. Elliptical in shape and measuring 3 5/16", it has one flat side
and one rounded side. Notches are apparent on one end only as the opposite
end exhibits ancient damage. A rare find anywhere. Previously in the

| Here is a good example of a used Base-Tang
Knife. The base has deep notches and the sides flare out nicely up from the
base until they abruptly turn in and connect for a sharp point. Large
percussion flake scares are evident in the second image. 2 7/8" long by 2
5/16" wide. Found by Paul Olsen in Bandera County, Texas. $50 |
